This gallery contains stories on a grunt's life in Vietnam. Michael Rodriguez was a Marine Infantryman during the Vietnam War. He is active in the 2nd Bn, 1st Marines Association, and is the former editor of "Texas VVA News," the newspaper for Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) in Texas.

Michael plans to travel to Vietnam as part of a humanitarian project for the Vietnam Veterans Foundation of Texas.
