So far, I have located HN Kenn Kuzmick, HN James Gordon, and HN James Tucker. I would still like to find HN Jack Butler, HM3 Lewis, HM3 Ward Pace, HN Board, HN Brenton, and any others whose names I may have forgotten. I served as the Senior Corpsman of the Company for a time in 1966, relieving HM3 Pace. Doc Lewis saved my life on June 13, 1966, when I was wounded in a mine field trying to treat wounded Marines trapped there. My wounds eventually led to a Medical Retirement in Febuary, 1967. Doc Gordon was also severely wound at the same time. We shared a lot of hard times in Vietnam together, and shared a common bond, which was trying our best to take care of the Marines we served with. I was never able to ask my father about his service during the Vietnam war but I found a photo album and letters that he kept over the years. All of the letter were from Alan, only he signed them as Paul. In all of the notes written in the album, my dad was refered to as Prophet. I will never be able to ask my dad what his experience was like and it is something that I regret.
