Message is: I am trying to locate Charles E. Hatch. I understand he retired from the Marine corps as a colonel. He was assigned to "armor". Over in Vietnam he was assigned to VMO-2, MAG-11 at Danang. His call sign was cowpoke 18 and he was shot down April 21, 1970 while flying as an air observer in an OV-10. He was picked up by an Air Force Golly Green on April 22, 1970. An Air Force Pararescueman is writing the second book about combat air rescue in Vietnam. He would like some first hand accounts of survivors experiences.
